I find this idea very appealing and worthwhile, would the supermarkets have any advantage in giving the restaurants their unsold goods?
Clemence HAGUET1
Thank you for your response.
Supermarkets sell its unsold to restaurants. So instead of destroying these products, they are resold there.
Milan SASIC
Great idea, can you tell us if this will get an impact on the image of the restaurants because they will use sell-by date products. As a costumer I would not be confident eating something that may not be fresh products.
Alice SCHLICINSKI
Great idea! I wanted to know who is in charge of the delivery of the order?
Emeric BARRET
Very nice project indeed. Personally, I was able to work in a B to B company hanging up on the METRO group. Many restaurant owners are looking for product longevity and quality to avoid any problems with public services and the closing of their restaurants. It might be interesting to put a time limit on the shelf life of your products and to take responsibility for the potential break in the chain of conservation.
Chemseddine ANNABI
Nice subject. But the idea seems already existing as Too Good To Go's app, so how will your achieve to establish your company next to this already established app ?
Dorian BOREL
I like the idea of a platform between those who sell and those who use the products! But isn't there a risk for the image of the restaurant owners that goes through you?
Theo VICARD
This idea is very interesting ! The concept is very good, but I have just two questions : Will restaurants be able to buy lower quality products without damaging their image? They also have a stock to make, and do you think they will take the time to look at the site every night?
Arthur RADJABI
ver interesting topic that is linked to a huge problem that affects us today. Juste one question, aren't you afraid that solutions quite similar such as "too good to go" will do the same project ?and do you consider maybe work in partnership with other platform offering this type of solutions to increase efficiency ?
Charlotte PENET
I already worked on a very similar subject and my issue was that the food given by the supermarkets always change so the restaurant cannot follow its menu, how can this issue be solved ?
Alexandre RAUX
great idea! i just wonder what advantage the restaurant has in predicting which products will be delivered soon by the supermarkets to help prepare the dishes? or are the products known shortly in advance? in this case, what advantage does the restaurant owner have in terms of preparation?
Alex SIVALINGAM
The idea is very interesting !! How would you deal with the fact that restaurants already have a certain amount of food waste ?
Sacha THAN TRONG
Love it ! I wonder if it's legally allowed and if there are already organisations that do so ?
Louis GIREAU
Very interesting idea and food waste is highly present in supermarkets. How will you deal with the fact that alternative solutions such as food collections by associations and food banks already occupy an important place in this market?
Dorian BALAAM
Love the idea but some questions concerning the accountability if unfresh products are served. Similarly to TooGoodToGo, it could be a decent idea with other question marks over transportation. Something I could definitely see existing in the near future!
Romain CAZAUX
I really like this idea, I find it very interesting. However, don't you think it would be better to give a smaller part of those stocks to humanitarian associations as they are struggling with everything that is happening in the world right now?
Mathilde BEYER
Good idea, I think that it will decrease the amount of waste for supermarkets but aren't you afraid that it will increase food waste for restaurateurs as they are already dealing with it on a daily basis ?
Oriane BURNETT
I feel like this idea is really good and well found. Indeed, so much food is waisted by supermarkets, trading them with restaurants would be really interesting and would diminish food waste
Amelie RIES
Very interesting, food waste is a real topic. The only thing to pay attention to, is the freshness of the food. Some of the products may be out of date and it could be a problem for restaurateurs as food intoxication could be very bad for their reputation.
Tiffany PREOCANIN
Food waste is a real issue nowadays but how do you plan to promote your platform and prove its' profitability as there is Too Good To Go's already that is very well implemented in the market?
Garance LLADOS
It reminds me of the mobile app Too Good To Go which also reduces food waste by offering the same products as you do but linking supermarkets to individuals. As for your idea, I find it very interesting, but will the customers of the restaurants concerned be aware that they are eating food that may be out of date? It is true that as a customer I would be sceptical to go to such a restaurant.
Marine LAURET
It's a good idea, to limit or avoid food waste. However it is necessary to pay particular attention to the rules of hygiene with the expiration dates in order not to have food poisoning.
Leo JUSSERAND
A classic issue with an innovative idea, but isn't the idea to close to services such as too good to go ?
Axel SZTEJNFELD1
Very promising project, can't wait to discover more!
Maeva GUILLAUME1
I think this is a great idea but there is some issues to ensure the food is enough qualitative especially for fresh products. In fact, restaurants use mainly fresh products but their due dates usually need to be respected carefully. However, for all non-perishable products or "not attractive enough" ones it is an excellent idea.
Maeva GUILLAUME1
you will also have competitors because associations often have the upper hand on many supermarkets regarding the less fragile products that they give to people in need
Celia MALLET1
Food waste is one of the more important causes of environment fight, i think its a very precise cause that need to be put in first place of our fight for the planet. Thank you for your idea
Emma NATHAN
good idea, but why the restaurants would accept to buy almost expired products
Clement PUIGVENTOS
This project aims to reduce food waste by linking supermarkets and restaurateurs through a platform. The goal is to provide a solution for supermarkets to offer their unsold products, such as those close to their sell-by date, to restaurant owners. By connecting these two groups and reducing food waste, this project has the potential to make a positive impact on the environment and support local communities.
Camille FORTIN
An idea already well developed, however I have some questions: How to face the competition of associations like "too good to go"? Do you think that the consumers of this restaurant will easily accept the idea of eating already aged products? How to anticipate for the restaurant owners which dishes to cook and how many people they can accuillate? And is it possible to implement this within the law? Because I think that the big supermarkets do not throw away for the pleasure but to respect the laws.
Titouan VAN MEYEL
it's a very interesting idea however, how do you plan to make it possible to the restaurant owners to have the ingredients to cook the dishes present on their cards because I suppose that each day, the supermarkets propose different articles
Clara CHEVALLIER
Restaurants will not recover expired products but products with a short date, damaged products (fruits and vegetables), products with damaged packaging.
Clara CHEVALLIER
Restaurants will adapt their menu according to the availability of products on the the platform.
Simon VAN POUCKE
For the delivery service, it will be take in charge by a special companFor the delivery of products, it will be done either by private delivery companies or by one of our members to simplify things at the beginning.
Clara CHEVALLIER
The concept is different of too good to go because we don't have the same target. Too good to go is a B2C concept : from companies (restaurants, supermarkets) to consumers and our platform is a B2B concept : from supermarket to restaurants
Clara CHEVALLIER
Indeed, associations already exists to struggle against this concept but this isn't systematic. Associations have to ask for it. In our concept, supermarkets MUST put in place the application
Charles DORIER
very interesting idea, it seems very sustainable and current topic. It's crucial to avoid waste in the restaurants
Louis HUMBLOT
It is a very important subject and I hope that you will succeed. I would have liked to see your business model in more detail.
